Bengal Kittens in Seattle, WA

Bengal Kittens

At Exotic Legends, we breed and have Bengal kittens available all year long. WE ARE THE FIRST CATTERY IN THE UNITED STATES TO HAVE OUR BENGALS USED FOR THERAPY CATS. Our Bengals come from the top champion lines in the country, combining the best qualities of our beloved Bengal- great health, fun, friendly, and outgoing character, and beautiful wild look and conformation with clear, brilliant, and silky patterns. We do not mass produce or raise our cats in cages. We do make sure each and every one of our Bengals is a well-socialized, quality example of the breed, and are enjoying our quest to create more brilliant and rare examples. In the past, we have had kittens available in brown spotted and rosette, both brown and silver tri-color marbles, various snows, and some with glittered coats. So if you want to truly wonderful, disease free Bengal contact me. Don't settle on a cheaper kitty, that is not proven to be negative. Be smart and educated in your selection.https://www.vgl.ucdavis.edu/services/pkdeficiency.php -PK = Erythrocyte Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PK Deficiency) is an inherited hemolytic anemia caused by insufficient activity of this regulatory enzyme which results in instability and loss of red blood cells. The anemia is intermittent, the age of onset is variable and clinical signs are also variable. Symptoms of this anemia can include: severe lethargy, weakness, weight loss, jaundice, and abdominal enlargement. This condition is inherited as an autosomal recessive.PRA = Progressive retinal atrophy (PRA), which causes an autosomal recessive blindness in Bengal cats. The disease causes the destruction of the cells that register light (photoreceptors) in the back of the eye (the retina). The loss of the cells begins around 7 weeks of age and slowly progresses until the cat has very compromised vision by approximately 2 years of age1. However, blindness develops at different rates in different cats. EVERY OTHER CATTERY THAT I HAVE CONTACTED DOES NOT TEST FOR BOTH OF THESE. ASK YOUR BREEDER FOR PROOF OF THIS TEST BEFORE YOU BUY FROM THEM.
