His body is a bright blue suit accented with woven red and white bands on his arms and chest; a red felt scarf circles his neck. The kitty's head is light brown with a white face and pink-tipped ears backed in dark grey. ***Large green glass eyes frame a pink stitched nose and mouth and clear whiskers. The brown tail ends in a pouf of white to match his paws. ***The cat is unjointed but has flexible arms, legs and tail; his neck swivels slightly to left and right. ***Bearing the Steiff name in incised script, a shiny nickel button attaches a yellow stock tag to the kitty's left ear. The button style and EAN #7827/32 identify the production date as between 1972 and 1977 and the official size as 32 cm. Creased at the top and price-clipped, the tag describes the cat as being made in Germany of 80% dralon and 20% cotton.
