Experienced Optician in Seattle, WA

A fast-paced established vision clinic in Ballard is seeking a talented and experienced optician for fulltime employment--no weekends. We offer a friendly workplace with the opportunity to develop patient relationships and grow professionally. Primary responsibilities of this job include assisting customers in selecting high quality eyewear appropriate for their lifestyle and prescription, ordering and dispensing glasses and contact lenses, maintaining store inventory, front desk and reception, adjusting and repairing frames as needed, all while delivering excellent customer service. We are looking for a dependable team-oriented individual who is outgoing and friendly, genuinely enjoys helping patients, and has the ability to problem solve. Knowledge of vision insurance programs, experience with unique eyewear, a great sense of fashion, and superb communication skills are desirable. Compensation is hourly depending on experience. We also offer paid time off, health insurance, 401(k), and profit sharing.
